What to highlight in your resume
Start with the vacancy and compare it with your real experience. Put the most relevant tasks near the top of each job entry. Name the systems and equipment you genuinely use, such as handheld scanners, WMS software, pallet trucks or forklifts. If you include productivity numbers, give enough context to make them credible, for example an average per shift or an accuracy rate measured over a defined period.
Skills worth including
- Order picking and packing
- Inventory checks and cycle counts
- Handheld scanners and WMS
- Goods receiving and replenishment
Keep only skills you can explain with a real example from work, training or a project.
Professional summary example
Warehouse worker with 3 years of experience in e-commerce fulfilment. Experienced in order picking, handheld scanners, stock checks and preparing shipments for dispatch. Looking for a warehouse role where accuracy, safe working practices and reliable shift performance matter.
Use this as a structure, not as text to copy unchanged. Replace the role, experience, tools and goal with your own information.
Quick start
Start with a Warehouse Worker base
We will add role-specific skill suggestions and keep any CV data you already entered. Nothing is invented about your employers, dates or experience.
You review every suggestion before sending the resume.
Experience bullet examples
- Picked and packed customer orders using handheld scanners and location codes.
- Checked incoming deliveries against shipping documents and reported shortages or damage.
- Supported cycle counts by checking stock quantities, locations and inventory discrepancies.
If this is your first job
If this is your first warehouse job, use related experience from retail stockrooms, moving, production, delivery work or practical training. Describe the physical and organisational tasks you performed instead of claiming warehouse experience you do not yet have.
What to avoid
Do not list licences or equipment you have only seen other people use. Name the exact equipment you can operate and keep certification details accurate and current where the role requires them.
Check your resume before sending it
- Match the vacancy. Put the most relevant real experience near the top.
- Check dates and contact details. Make sure the employer can reach you and your timeline is consistent.
- Keep claims defensible. Remove numbers, skills or responsibilities you could not explain in an interview.
- Check the PDF text. Copy text from the exported PDF into a plain editor to confirm it remains readable.
- Read it on mobile. Look for broken lines, awkward page breaks and sections that are hard to scan.
Turn it into your own resume
Start with your real experience, then tailor the wording to the job you want. You can build and export the resume in English directly in the CV builder.
